DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR announced Tuesday that fines have been issued to two Busch Series crew chiefs resulting from rule violations during opening day inspection at Memphis Motorsports Park on Oct. 21.
• Steve Kuykendall, crew chief of the No. 92 Dodge driven by Charlie Bradberry, was fined $500 after being found in violation of sections 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 12-4-Q (car, car parts, components and/or equipment used that do not conform to NASCAR rules: unapproved brake rotors -- did not meet minimum thickness) of the 2005 NASCAR Busch Series Rule Book.
• Mike Harmon, driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet, was fined $500 for also violating 12-4-A and 12-4-Q (steering idler arm was not solid).
