Jimmie Johnson to host talk show on XM Radio
Jimmie Johnson will soon get a turn on the other side of the microphone.
The NASCAR Nextel Cup driver will host his own talk show on XM Satellite Radio beginning next February. According to an XM press release, Johnson will "discuss the latest happenings on the NASCAR circuit and talk about music and other personal interests on the wide-ranging show."
"I'm extremely excited to be part of the XM family," Johnson said in a statement. "For a few years I've been searching for the right outlet to give people an opportunity to get to know a side of me away from the race track. XM approached me with the idea of having a national weekly radio show and it was the perfect fit."
