Maybe Busch should consider skipping Atlanta's fall race
HAMPTON, Ga. - Maybe Kurt Busch should consider skipping next October's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. For the second year in a row, trouble hit Busch in the Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500.
Last year, while leading the Chase for the Nextel Cup, Busch blew an engine in this race. This time, a right-rear tire went flat, causing Busch to nose into the Turn 4 wall on Lap 123. He ended up 36th, 55 laps downnd was the only Roush Racing car outside the top seven.
