NASCAR driver Elliott Sadler will fill the fourth seat on SPEED's popular Friday night show "Trackside" with Steve Byrnes, Darrell Waltrip, Jeff Hammond and Larry McReynolds. Waltrip will continue to handle the first-half duties, with Sadler taking over for DW on July 7 at Chicagoland Speedway."I've been a huge fan of "Trackside" over the years," Sadler said. "I'm honored they've asked me to be a host and hope to bring race fans a unique perspective. I'll be working with some great co-hosts and I know this is going to be a lot of fun." "SPEED viewers want to see a variety of drivers and crew chiefs with a variety of personalities," said Chris Long, VP of Studio Production for SPEED. "Ellliott is a fantastic driver and he has a lot of fun with everything he does -- his insight and sense of humor will be a great addition to the cast. It's flattering that Elliott wanted to find time from his busy schedule to work with us, and we expect the viewers are going to enjoy his participation." "Trackside," now in its fifth season, is a live, Friday night pre-event show from the site of each NASCAR Nextel Cup Series race. Sadler, 30, from Emporia, Va., currently pilots the No. 38 M&M'S Ford and No. 90 CitiFinancial Ford for Robert Yates Racing. A Chase participant in 2004, Sadler finished 13th in points in 2005 and has three career NASCAR Nextel Cup victories and five NASCAR Busch Series Victories.
