NASCAR tightens rules on past champ's provisional in Busch Series
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The NASCAR Busch Series has slightly altered the rules governing the use of the past champion’s provisional this season.Beginning this year, a driver can only utilize the past champion’s provisional once every eight races. In previous seasons, there was no limit to the number of times a driver who was a former series champion could use the provisional. The change does not apply to the Nextel Cup or Craftsman Trucks series
