NASCAR fined Busch Series crew chiefs Joe Shear Jr. and Chris Wright each $10,000 and placed them on probation through Dec. 31 for violations last weekend at Nashville Superspeedway.
Shear Jr., crew chief of the No. 43 Ford driven by Aaron Fike, was penalized for failing the minimum height requirement in post-race inspection. Fike was stripped of 25 driver points and car owner Mike Curb was penalixed 25 car owner points for the infraction as well.
Wright was penalized for unapproved shock absorbers on the No. 35 Ford driven by Regan Smith.
