NASCAR driver Kyle Busch admits to improper driving in Richmond incident
RICHMOND, Va. - NASCAR driver Kyle Busch pleaded guilty Tuesday to improper driving and was fined $150.
Busch was ticketed April 12 in suburban Richmond for reckless driving after he pulled out of a gas station and into a fast-food restaurant. Busch has said he "chirped" his tires but didn't exceed 10 mph.
Under the misdemeanour reckless driving charge, Busch could have received up to one year in jail, a $2,500 fine and a driver's licence suspension.
The plea was entered in Henrico General District Traffic Court and Busch also had to pay $61 in court costs. The 20-year-old Busch drives for Hendrick Motorsports.
