West Virginia Motor Speedway Sept. 24 & 25
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BDS Racing Promotions is pleased to announce the "1st Annual Wild and Wonderful West Virginia Motorsports Hall of Fame Weekend." On September 24th and 25th race fans will be treated to yet another fall classic in the mountain state, as the Lucas Oil Dirtcar Series and the AMRA Road Warrior Tour rolls into "the Speedplant" otherwise known as West Virginia Motor Speedway for a double dipper weekend.
On Saturday, September 24th late models will battle for the $7000 to-win grand prize as they will run a complete show including a 35 lap feature. Billed as "The Tribute 35", fans will see the country's best late model drivers battle it out on the monster 5/8 mile track. "The Tribute" will honor and remember those close to our hearts involved in our sport that have passed on this year and recent years past. Also on tap for Saturday will be preliminaries for the AMRA Road Warrior Tour modifieds. Just as in years past a huge field of "Road Warriors" should be expected to put on a show that would rival any modified show in the country.
Sunday, September 25th fans will witness motorsports history for the mountain state as BDS Racing Promotions serves up the second half of this historic weekend with a $10,000 to-win Lucas Oil Dirtcar Series sanctioned event. "The Hall of Fame Spectacular" will give fans 50 blinding fast feature laps and the AMRA "Road Warrior Tour" modifieds will display their feature event with the "Fall Classic 30". Fans will also witness inductions to the newly formed West Virginia Motorsports Hall of Fame, as some of our own "Ledgends of the Fall" will be honored.
Stay tuned this week for updates and information on this mountain state fall classic weekend.
