NAPA-MDA Racing for a Cure Late Model Series Heads for Electric City
GREAT FALLS Mont. -- The NAPA-MDA Racing for a Cure Late Model Series sponsored by the Great Falls NAPA Auto Care Centers and MDA is coming to Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, MT, Thursday, July 20, 2006, for the first time ever with some exciting Late Model racing action.
The Stockett-Sand Coulee Volunteer Fire Dept. will pass "the boot" in the grandstands to raise funds and awareness for MDA. Electric City Speedway will be donating $1.00 per adult ticket sold and the touring drivers will pass a helmet in the pit area for donations to the MDA.
Discount coupons are available at the eight local NAPA Auto Care Centers. These coupons offer a $2.00 discount at the Speedway on your adult ticket purchase. The NAPA Auto Care Centers will then donate $1.00 for each one used at the Speedway to the MDA. Stop by any of the following locations to get your coupon: 15th St. Cenex, Auto Diagnostics, Carl's Auto Care, Carnahan's Towing & Repair, Fleet Maintenance, Mitchells' Crash Repair, Northside Autocare or Westgate Towing & Repair.
The funds raised will go towards local patient services per Paula Garvin, District Director, Muscular Dystrophy Assoc.
Gates will open at 6 pm, with racing at 7:30. Tickets are available only at the gate on race day. Adult (age 18-69) tickets will cost $14.00 (don't forget to bring that NAPA coupon); Youth(13-17) tickets will cost $10.00; Children(6-12) tickets will cost $3.00. Under 6 and 70+ admitted at no charge. Additional parking is available in the Big Sky Bus lot using their 9th St. gate. The tour group will then speed on to Belgrade, Billings, and Sheridan after their Great Falls stop.
