2006 Whelen Modified Tour Thread

This is basically a place for those who are interested in the Whelen Modified Tour (or those who are interested in getting interested in them) to discuss the season on hand. For starters, this is the schedule:

Sat. June 17 - Jennerstown (Pa.) Speedway
Thurs. June 29 - Thompson (CT) International Speedway
Sat. July 15 - New Hampshire International Speedway
Sat. July 22 - Waterford (CT) Speedbowl
Sat. July 29 - Holland (NY) International Speedway
Sat. Aug. 5 - Riverhead (NY) Raceway
Fri. Aug. 11 - Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway
Thurs. Aug. 17 - Thompson (CT) International Speedway
Sat. Sept. 2 - Martinsville (VA) Speedway
Sun. Sept. 10 - Thompson (CT) International Speedway
Fri. Sept. 15 - New Hampshire International Speedway
Sun. Oct. 1 - Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway
Sun. Oct. 15 - Thompson (CT) International Speedway

The race in Martinsville is a combination race with the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Race winners already are Mike Stefanik (4/9) and Doug Coby (4/30). Stafford's 5/26 event has been pushed to July 4th because of rain.

UPDATE

The race from Jennerstown (6/17) was run and the winner was Ted Christopher. He now takes over the points lead with the victory. Next race is at the Thompson Intermation Speedway on the 29th--next Thursday.
